Jaranek - Plum, Rhubarb & Pear

Jaranek: The deep rooted draws its inspiration from the rich, warm scent of the damson plum, 'Arasia', grown in the village of Al-Khader in the Bethlehem Governorate. Symbolising the richness of Palestinian land, this fruit embodies the agricultural heritage of the region. Paired with desert rhubarb, a native plant renowned for its highly efficient rainwater-gathering system, this scent represents the resilience and deep-rooted strength of the Palestinian people. The desert rhubarb, now a rare and endangered species, is protected by law.

The Jaranek candle offers an earthy and fruity fragrance, blending the deep notes of rhubarb with the grounding essence of plum. As the candle burns, the subtle warmth of pear and peach emerges, creating a deep connection to the land.

We chose to use a premium blend of rapeseed and coconut wax for this candle, ensuring an eco-friendly, natural burn with excellent scent throw. The wax is non-GMO, soy and palm-free, with no added chemicals or additives. It is also vegan, halal, and kosher certified.

Safety: All instructions will be on the base of the jar. We recommend a burn of 3-4 hours minimum. Ensure the top is completely melted the first time before blowing out to avoid pooling.
