Made in collaboration with an amazing NGO that supports marginalised women in Uganda We named this gorgeous neutral wave placemat after Rose, the talented woman who wove it.

It's durable, classic and Ideal to use as protection under your hot plates, as chargers on your dinner table, protection under your large plant pots and more. We’ve had a loop added to this gorgeous mat so you can hang them up on your wall to create a beautiful display effortlessly.


How is it made?
Banana riddle and raffia is cut into strips and dried out into the sun. The raffia is dyed using natural pigments from plants and vegetables and left out to dry again. The ladies then bunch the banana riddle and wrap raffia around them to create these stunning one-of-a-kind designs.

Love and care: To clean, dust with a dry cloth and air-dry to freshen and release odours. Wipe immediately if stained. If dry cloth is not sufficient to remove marks,  use a damp cloth to spot clean and ensure to air-dry them completely. The mats are 100% natural and if they are left wet or damp they will decompose. Do not store in a moist environment. We highly discourage for you to run these under the tap and avoid all contact with water if possible.
