Ajrak Pyjama Set | Small
Our Ajrak Pyjama Set combines the rich heritage of Ajrak block-printing with modern comfort and sustainability. Featuring front patch pockets in subtle grey, crafted using remnants of Kantha quilts from our small projects, including aprons, oven gloves, and aromatherapy eye masks, this set brings heritage and mindful design together.
Ajrak (Sindhi: اجرڪ), also known as Ajrakh, is a traditional textile block-printing technique native to Sindh, Pakistan, and Ajrakhpur in the Kutch district of India. Renowned for its intricate patterns and vibrant hues, Ajrak uses natural dyes, including indigo as a key component, and combines vegetable and mineral dyes to create its stunning designs.
This pyjama set features thoughtful details like coconut shell buttons, elasticated bottoms for a relaxed fit, making it as stylish as it is comfortable. Perfect for lounging or sleeping, it’s a wearable piece of art that honours heritage while supporting sustainable practices, bringing a touch of tradition to your everyday wardrobe.
