No new trees were cut to make this notebook!
The fabric used to wrap this notebook is an off-cut from Ajrak fabric. It is a type of block-printed cotton textile from Kuch. Ajrak can be traced back to civilisation of the Indus Valley that existed around 2500 BC-1500 BC. Only natural dyes madder root and indigo are used to print.
This notebook has 50 sheets of ruled paper made from recycled cotton, paper waste and other natural fibre waste. No harmful chemicals were used in the process.
These books provide rural craftspeople employment and fair-wages.
